Delray Beach Open to Enhance 2025 Event with Expanded Features

2025 Tournament to Feature New Culinary Events and a Three-Peat Attempt by Taylor Fritz
The Delray Beach Open (DBO) is set to captivate tennis enthusiasts and food lovers alike as it expands its offerings for the 33rd annual tournament, scheduled from February 7 to February 16, 2025, at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center in Florida.

The event will once again be highlighted by the performance of top-seeded American tennis player Taylor Fritz, who aims to secure his third consecutive title, a feat yet to be achieved in the tournament's history.

The DBO is renowned as the first North American hard-court event in the ATP Tour's outdoor season and consistently attracts a live audience of over 60,000 fans.

It is broadcast to millions of viewers spanning more than 100 countries worldwide.

This year, the competition will open with an ATP Legends event, featuring former Delray Beach Open and Grand Slam champion Juan Martin del Potro, who returns after a six-year hiatus to compete on February 7 and 9. He will be joined by doubles legends the Bryan Brothers, six-time DBO champions and recent International Tennis Hall of Fame inductees, alongside notable players Jack Sock and Tommy Haas.

Significant attention is directed toward Palm Beach County resident Tommy Paul, ranked among the Top 15 players globally.

Paul, the 2024 runner-up, returns following a landmark season where he secured three titles and advanced to the Wimbledon quarterfinals, also briefly surpassing Taylor Fritz as the top-ranked American.

Both he and Fritz achieved an Olympic bronze in doubles in Paris.

The 2025 event will introduce additional features such as the expanded Food & Wine Series, a collection of tasting events and dinners celebrating South Florida's rich culinary landscape.

Special attractions include the Grand Tasting event, the Valentine's Day-themed 'Valentine's & Volleys: A Taste of Italy,' and returning favorites such as 'Game, Set, Pour,' all of which showcase partnerships with prominent culinary and spirits providers.

To cater to increasing demand, improvements to seating options have been made.

Alongside previous luxury seating arrangements, the tournament will offer new Mezzanine Level two-top tables and over 1,000 additional chairback seats, replacing bleacher seating in certain upper-level sections.

The event’s unique culinary experiences are supported by official partners such as American Icon Brewery, Raeburn Winery, and spirits brand Dano's Tequila, alongside expanded offerings in a variety of dining experiences, notably the 'Championship Brunches' and 'Game, Set, Pour.'

Tickets for individual sessions and full series packages are available for purchase through the official Delray Beach Open website.

Early registration is advised as special events tend to reach capacity well in advance.
